XXL Figure - Flower Thrower

Made from an official vintage "Danish Building Bricks" display figure, this is a one-off sculpture that mixes street art with one of the world's most recognisable toys. At around 50 cm tall, the figure is still fully articulated, with movable arms, legs, head, and hands.

The artwork is inspired by Banksy's iconic Flower Thrower. I created the image by turning one of my old photographs into a one-layer, hand-cut stencil before painting it onto the figure. Using layers of spray paint, acrylic paint, stencils, and hand-finished tagging, the original display figure has been completely transformed while still keeping its character. It's all sealed with a high-gloss varnish to protect the finish.

Every mark is done by hand, making this an original, one-of-a-kind sculpture.
